What's New for EXPO 2013?

Just for kids!  The 120 Western Grand Championships return for a second year! This is a special event for all youngsters to compete in five different classes: Kitty Kat, 120 speed limited, 120 Stock, 120 Champ, and Outlaw. Kids from 4 to 12 years old have a chance to try out racing or gain racing experience. Open to everyone. For more information, contact bhasenack@aol.com. Check out the Mountain Horse Snow Bike System based on a bolt on kit to any dirt bike that require no modifications to install and allow you to be able to switch your bike from tires in the summer to track system in the winter. They are mostly designed for extreme mountain riding but are also very competitive on the race track and trail. The Timbersled Mountain Horse Snow Bike can be seen in the main EXPO tent and out at the race track.

At the race track Timbersled will be offering first come first serve demo rides for anyone that is interested in riding them (proper riding safety gear will be rewired). Demo rides will be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

On Sunday afternoon, after all the snowmobile races are over, big 4X4 trucks will hit the track for a "test of the best" competition on snow. Mike's Off Road (located at the Four Corners area of Bozeman, Montana) will be bringing down their biggest & baddest trucks and drivers to see who can take on this snow course and survive!

EXPO 2013 is the 10th Anniversary of the WSVSA (Western States Vintage Snowmobile Association) Round-up bringing unique vintage snowmobiles to West Yellowstone. The annual show and display is located to the south of the SnoCross track,

New for 2013 is vintage snowmobiles racing on an oval track. Racing classes will include: stock and mod single cylinder, 340 and 440 fan cooled, and 340 and 440 free air. Races are limited to 1980 and older snowmobiles and will take place at 11:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday.  Cost per race is $25.00 plus $10.00 per day for insurance. Arctic Cat M120 Raffle - Support the future of snowmobiling with your raffle ticket purchase!

The West Yellowstone Chamber Snowmobile Events Committee is raffling a 2013 Arctic Cat M120 snowmobile with custom wrap.  Proceeds will benefit the West Yellowstone Kids'N'Snow program and free snowmobile rides for kids!

Winner to be announced on at the 2013 World Snowmobile EXPO, March 17th, 2013 at the M120 Western Grand Championship Race, Snocross Track (need not be present to win).

Raffle tickets are: one for $10.00; three for $20.00, or twenty for $50.00. Raffle tickets can be purchased at locations throughout West Yellowstone or download and mail in the attached form.  

The Kids'N'Snow Program offers an opportunity for all kids, both from our community and winter visitors, the chance to try new things in a safe and fun hands-on learning environment and develop lifelong healthy habits along the way. Snowmobile rides (no charge) are available for kids on Kids'N'Snow weekends throughout the winter. See www.kidsnsnow.org for schedules.
